Our history
Big Band Karlovy Vary was founded in 1986 by trombonist Milan Hart, a fan of swing dance music. He gathered around him renowned musicians of the Karlovy Vary region who love jazz music and its patterns. Since 1998, the Big Band has been led by Zdeněk Krám, who, together with the musicians of the Big Band, has continued the founder's ideas to spread this noble music, which has influenced generations and musical styles all over the world with its positive energy!
